Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial individual who also has marketing ability to guide their ultra premium strategy in the UAE region.
The Prestige (Meta) Manager will be accountable for delivering and executing the META strategy and
commercial ambitions for the United Arab Emirates. This will be done by working with several distribution partners in the region and the relevant cross-functional teams, to develop and implement our Meta Luxury strategy.
This, in turn, will support the broader strategy of winning in premium plus spirits through disruptive
activation.
Responsibilities:
1. Map the key cities by conducting a route to consumer survey in respect of our META product portfolio
Identify relevant on and off trade outlet segmentations
Identify relevant on and off trade outlet tiers
Identify our relevant source of business by outlet segmentation and outlet tier
2. Ensure we have the right portfolio in place by outlet segment and tier.
3. Develop an activation strategy for each segment and tier, and executing it using the necessary tools :
Execution standards (QDVAAA)
PR / Advocacy / Partnerships
Gifting
POS
4. Build META credentials and fame by:
Building the luxury capabilities of the local distribution partners
Establishing a culture of luxury within our distribution partners and relevant trade partners
Representing South Africa within the WG&S EMEMA network of luxury specialists
Recruiting affluent and ultra-high net-worth individuals
5. Ambassador and embody brand values, beliefs and attitudes to become role model for third parties and act as a
trusted advisor to the customers by developing strong relationships with outlet management to advocate the
Meta Luxury portfolio.
6. Use customer insights tools and activations effectiveness (what’s working/Not working/needs improvement) to
evolve regional Meta activation strategy
